1. Main problems and annoyances you encounter when using ActionApps
Item updates
Updates to items should be done as transaction. Currently all item field are deleted and new fields are addedd (with new values). Content of an item is lost if an error occurs (it happened to us serveral times).

Heavy Load
Complex sites build with AA create very heavy load on server (too much sql queries).

Relative URLs in HTMLarea
Current HTMLarea have problems with relative URLs under MSIE (adding bad host part of URL).

Search in related items
Search in related items only works on itemids of related items, not on real content of the items (e.g. headline, etc.).

2. Features suggested for future development versions of ActionApps
Better input functions
1. Possibility to combine more fields in the selectbox (e.g. Category + Tile), etc. Perhaps with use of views.
2. Support for hierarchies in the form elements (e.g. select box that displays items from slice in hierarchical manner - based on "parent category" field of that slice). Also for related windows.
3. Better file upload (allow to upload multiple files and their titles/descriptions)
4. Add/Edit option for related item windows (allow add new item if it is missing).
5. More granullar premissions on input forms (e.g. show only author's items in related windows, or selectbox).

Better Templates
Provide better and ready to use templates (website of organization, blog, directory, calendar, faq, etc.). Development of basic types of sites should be as easy as possible for novice AA users and should not take more than few minutes.

Customizable Admin Interface
Admin interface should be customizable (layout, colors, etc.) according to specific project

Discussions
Discussions/article comments should be converted to standard slice(s) or special Discussion module. It should provide all the functionality as other slices (views, conditions, sorting, relations to other slices - e.g. better integration with Reader Management module).

Undo function
AA should have "undo" function (e.g. to remember last few actions and be able to set everything back).

Support for workflow
AA should offer possibility to create simple workflow (e.g. add item, edit, approve, publish) and assign these roles to different users. It perhaps might be done with litle modification to bins (Active, Expired, Penging...) and Reader Management slice.
