The integration with mail is essentially non-functional.

The system has to meet the requirements of some of the simpler systems, as well as having the features for handling more sophisticated projects. Currently I find myself using Wiki's (e.g. Tikiwiki) and Blogs (e.g. Moving Type), for more projects than AA.
The simplicity of getting a blog up, in maybe 10% of the time to do this with AA, means that it is rarely worth the extra time for that 10% of missing features.
